Step-by-Step Signature Process

Initial Call + Initial Visit
Upon completing the inquiry form on our website, you’ll receive our Design Overview as well as a link to schedule an Initial Call. On this call, we'll delve into your project and design requirements, and provide insights into our design process. If we both agree there's a mutual fit, we'll schedule an in-person Initial Visit. This is when we’ll thoroughly explore your aesthetic preferences, project wish list, and timeline - all of which will factor into your detailed Scope of Work.

Initial Call + Initial Visit
Following the Initial Visit, we’ll develop a high-level, detailed Scope of Work + Letter of Agreement outlining the specifics of your project, including our Full Service Design Fee, interior furnishings and materials investment estimate, and estimated costs for renovation or new build materials (if supplied by your builder). Once we agree on the estimated investment estimate and sign the Letter of Agreement, we'll proceed to the Research + Design Phase.

Initial Call + Initial Visit
Next, we’ll schedule a kick-off meeting to outline the upcoming steps, depending on the type of build. For renovation or new build consultations, we will begin with layout design and configuration, and then finish selections, covering aspects such as tile, cabinetry, countertops, and lighting. If this is a large scale furnishings project, our focus shifts promptly to furniture plans and selections.

Once we have finished your design plan and selections, we will schedule a presentation that will include customized mood boards, floorplans, elevations, renderings and finish samples.

An exclusive and intensive one-on-one, in-person, design session with Elana to expedite the transformation of your space. Over six hours, we’ll dive into the exciting aspects of designing one room in your home including brainstorming and evaluating the space, furniture selection, decor, rugs, lighting, paint, to-scale space plans, mood boards, and a personalized shopping list for easy implementation.
