Bells Mill Estates, Potomac

In Potomac, Maryland, we reimagined a 156 square foot office for a C-suite executive who needed the space to match his pace. The existing study offered little function and no clear focal point, so we rebuilt it from the studs, rotating the layout so the room reveals itself the moment you enter, anchored by a wall of rift-cut white oak millwork and a bold abstract painting at its center.

An ebonized oak desk floats at the heart of the room, its concealed front and integrated cord management keeping every line uninterrupted. Behind it, custom cabinetry quietly holds the printer, shredder, files, and bar, each wired to its own hidden power source. A wall of glass floods the room with light, while layered, dimmable lighting and a leathered black granite desktop give the space its weight.

The result is an office as composed as the executive who works from it, refined, exacting, and built entirely on his terms.
