Our clients tasked us to reimagine their dated 90s bathroom into an updated, more functional primary bath built for comfort, ease, and quiet beauty within the same 300 square foot footprint. We installed his and hers sinks within a custom floating rift sawn white oak vanity topped in 2cm Taj Mahal quartz, relocated the water closet to a private corner, and anchored a furred-out wall with a fireplace and television mounted above. A freestanding soaking tub rests beneath a statement chandelier, framed by wall-to-wall windows dressed in custom, remote controlled roller shades. Polished gunmetal hardware, large format porcelain tile on both the floor and walls, and layered lighting bring warmth and precision throughout, while a brass and metal stool, small jewel-like pendants mounted asymmetrically and a pair of playful black and white portraits of the family’s two hilarious dogs add a bit of whimsy and personality. The result is a serene, ivory and gunmetal retreat, tailored to this couple's everyday rhythm.
