Our clients envisioned a brighter, more functional kitchen with increased natural light, expanded storage, and additional prep space—all within the original footprint. The transformation began by removing the side door, enlarging the sink window, and incorporating a transom above the french doors to flood the space with sunlight, instantly shifting the atmosphere from dated 1990s to modern and inviting.

A custom counter-height island was introduced to maximize functionality, serving as both a central prep area and a casual kitchen table with hidden storage. Clean lines, rich mid-century tones, and chef-grade appliances brought sophistication and performance, while custom artwork—painted specifically for the space—provided a personal finishing touch. The result is a kitchen that is timeless, refined, and tailored to this busy family’s lifestyle.
